With over 17 years of experience, Emily has helped families build stronger relationships with their dogs through personalized, hands-on training. After beginning her career as a puppy raiser for Canine Companions, she purchased Dog Lovers Obedience School in 2012.

Emily specializes in behavior modification, puppy training, remote collar training, and therapy dog preparation. She believes in a balanced approach, using positive reinforcement, clear communication, and fair, gentle corrections to create lasting results.

Emily lives in Powhatan with her husband and their two dogs, Chef and Zena. When Emily isn’t training dogs, she loves to travel and try new restaurants.
